Case Study

The Plough at Shenstone

An abandoned village pub in the heart of Staffordshire has been transformed into a cool, contemporary and chic gastro pub

“We set Spencer and his team an almost impossible task; in 12 weeks to rebuild, extend, refurbish and fit out a pub/restaurant which had been empty for 4 years. Spencer managed the project from start to finish, liaising with the planners, architects and building control, dealing with health and safety on site, appointing and managing all the trades, organising the reconnection of the utilities and working hard to ensure good relations with the neighbours during the building work. The commitment, dedication and skill of the team transformed the building on schedule, despite six weeks of torrential rain and high winds.

The standard of the craftsmanship, fit out and attention to detail, exceeded all our expectations and we are delighted with the end result.  Everyone in the team, onsite or back at the office, was always a delight to deal with, even in the midst of some very long hours and challenging timescales.

We would thoroughly recommend them.”
